See the remains of a circular tower considered to be the prison of the daughter of King Panduwasdeva. The delightful, bitter sweet tale said a male child born by her would murder her uncles. Thus, she was incarcerated. Needless to say she did bear a son who killed all but one of the uncles!! Drive to Annuradhapura and stay at Palm Garden Village for 2 nights
