Day 2: Arrive Colombo Close

Met by the Novaturient representative and transferred to the delightful Galle Face hotel for 1 night. Relax in the evening listening to the sound of the sea.

Day 3: Colombo Sightseeing Then Drive To Kandalama Close

A sightseeing excursion of this pulsating port city. The bright modern business centre contrasts sharply with the old Hindu Temple at Kochcbikade and the Jami Ul-Alfar Mosque. Then lovely scenic drive to Kandalama to stay at The Lake Lodge for 3 nights stay.

Day 4: Early Morning Excursion To Sigiriya. Afternoon Visit Annuradhapura Close

Early start to visit the stunning Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Climb to the top of the awe-inspiring Rock Fortress of Sigiriya. Built by King Kasyapa, who imprisoned and subsequently murdered his father, view the elegant frescoes of the Heavenly Maidens and wander the ruins on the summit. Afternoon visit Annuradhapura with its sacred Bodhi tree and outstanding dagoba.

Day 5: Visit Polonnaruwa Followed By Jeep Safari In Minneriya National Park Close

Visit the ancient city of Polonnaruwa, once a busy centre of commerce and a leading spiritual centre. Muse over the Gal Vihara, explore the Quadrangle and see the frescoes in the Tivanka Image House. Then feel the adrenaline rise on a jeep safari in Minneriya National Park… maybe a herd of elephants appears silently out of the jungle or the cry of a heron breaks the air.

Day 6: Drive To Kandy Enroute Visit Dambulla Cave Temple Close

The Cave Temples of Dambulla are superb with beautiful vibrant frescoes and the stunning 153 statues of the Lord Buddha. In the evening visit the Temple of Sacred Tooth Relic to watch the ceremonies and see the devotees doing their pooja. Stay at The Jetwing Kandy Gallery for 2 nights.

Day 7: Morning Hike To Knuckles Mountain Range Close

An exhilarating guided hike through beautiful countryside to the famous Knuckles Mountain’s. There’re over 34 trails to choose from – some meandering through small villages, skirting pretty waterfalls or passing caves home to hundred of bats.

Day 8: Drive To Negombo Close

Another scenic drive to Negombo before reaching The Jetwing Blue hotel where you stay for 3 nights.

Day 9: Negombo Close

Relax on the beautiful beach, swim in the lovely pools or be pampered in the indulgent spa.
